Selingua 5.2

Selingua is a free program that will help you learn to speak Spanish, French, German or Swedish (or English if your native language is one of those other languages). It comes with 7 activities designed to help you learn and practice vocabulary and grammar in these languages. Plus, it corrects any mistakes you might make by showing you the right answer.

One of the fun activities you can do on Selingua is a crossword puzzle. The program has crossword puzzles with 3 levels of difficulty. Some of the other options you can use on your language learning journey include: translating words, choosing the correct word from 4 different options, making associations between words, finding words in the fastest time possible, and practicing irregular verbs, which are very common in the 4 languages offered by the program.

The program is free, but there are some downsides. Obviously, the fact that it only has a limited number of languages to learn. The interface is also a bit outdated, and you can’t create a user profile to save your progress. That being said, the games offered in Selingua are fun and useful if you want to practice one of the languages it has.
